Foundational Research
Applied user-centered design principles to conduct comprehensive research on blockchain’s role in securing patient data, ensuring that every design decision directly serves the users’ core needs for privacy and control.
Audience Segmentation
Using empathy mapping and persona development, I identified key audience segments—patients, healthcare providers, and tech investors. This segmentation informed the design approach to cater to each group’s expectations, such as easy-to-navigate data access for patients and in-depth, customizable dashboards for providers.
User Journey Mapping & Accessibility-Focused UX
User Journey Maps
Created detailed journey maps for each audience segment, keeping accessibility and simplicity at the forefront. Each step in the journey was designed to ensure minimal friction, focusing on essential interactions that deliver value to the user, while adhering to Jakob’s Law (users prefer familiar experiences) by integrating common UI elements that healthcare users recognize.
Data Transparency & Security
Ensured clarity and transparency with visual elements that make blockchain’s secure data storage easy to understand and interact with. Used progressive disclosure to display complex security features only when needed, preventing information overload for users who want quick access to their data.

Developed low- and high-fidelity prototypes, testing designs with each user group to maintain consistency
